Hardcover. Condizione: Very Good. Engraved frontispiece, 126p. Contemporary green cloth re-backed retaining the original label. Foredge untrimmed. Thomas Kerrich (1748-1828) was the Cambridge University Librarian, a clergyman, an antiquary and an artist. A year after his death, his son, Rev. Richard Edward KErrich, published this work, which was one of the first catalogue raisonnes. He also arranged his father's prints in twp albums and later bequeathed them to the Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge. This copy has R.E. Kerrich's ownership signature dated June 18th 1829 and some marginal annotations probably in his hand. Boards a little soiled and some wear to the extremities. Inner hinge after title cracked, but holding firm. Some foxing to the preliminary and end leaves. Otherwise an overall clean copy. Scarce.
