The appendix noted above includes an addenda and corrigenda to the 1st October, 1865, and also Fairs, markets, and fast days in Scotland, &c. There is also a tipped-in leaf, printed in yellow paper, of information for advertisers and agents.

The map features information on currents, submarine cables, volcanoes, and lighthouses. Islands are listed according to colonial land claims and with square miles. From Letts's Popular Atlas, which was published 1881-1884. An inset in the upper left corner features England, depicted on the same scale as the map to show comparative size of the region. In very good condition, some minor foxing along original centerfold.
