Nobilis, or, A View of the Life and Death of a Sidney, and Lessus Lugubris is a 16th-century Latin biography of Sir Philip Sidney written by Thomas Moffett (Moffet) around 1593?1594. It offers an intimate, panegyrical account of Sidney's life, character, and death, alongside a funeral poem (Lessus lugubris), and was notably published with a modern translation by the Huntington Library in 1940.
