Dabei wll'd, ausgehend von den technischen Aufgaben, besonderer Wert auf die Erlauterung der allgemeinen Grundlagen, der Zusammenhange der verschiedenen Ein fluBgroBen und der fiir einen wirtschaftlichen Betrieb von Absorptions anlagen notwendigen Bedingungen gelegt. Um eine Gesamtilbersicht iiber die Absorptionstechnik zu er halten, wurde fiir diese allgemeinen, verfahrenstechnischen Probleme eine hinreichende Vollstandigkeit angestrebt. Dagegen war es mit Riicksicht auf den gewiinschten Umfang des Buches nicht mogIich, alle Anwendungsgebiete, z. B. Sonderverfahren, die oft nul' als spezielle Ausfiihrungsformen fiir einen besonderen Zweck anzusehen sind, zu beriicksichtigen. Dadurch wurde del' Inhalt gleichzeitig gegeniiber der beschreibenden Technologie abgegrenzt. Da gerade fiir die Verfahrenstechnik eine Anschaulichkeit del' Vor gange in den Apparaturen wertvoll und hierzu eine groBenmaBige Vor stellung aller Mengen und ihrer Zustande erforderlich ist, wurden moglichst Anhalts- oder Verhaltniszahlen zur Erlauterung eingefiigt.
