Originally Melissa Klein's thesis at San Francisco State University, this is the first edition of these short stories published by Owl House. About the author: "Melissa Klein writes a fiction zine called Inkling. Her short stories have been included in several anthologies, most recently It's All Good on Manic D Press, and her monologues and plays have been performed in a number of theaters and festivals. She believes in creative expression as a tool for empowerment and has taught writing and theater to homeless youth, recent immigrants, and incarcerated young women. About the illustrator: "Sara Thustra is an artist and activist living and working in San Francisco. He has "no rich no poor" politics, believing that community involvement is more prosperous than self-gain, along with the belief that there are more healthy and sustainable ways for us to live and participate in this world." --Publisher.
