A slender, crisp quarto measuring 12x9 inches, hardbound in openweave black cloth boards gilt, decorated with an onlaid color photo. We see no flaw: item is perfectly sound, clean and unmarked in any way. "Plans for [the garden's] creation were inspired by [the grandparents'] 1921 trip to China [and also by] temple landscapes in Japan and Korea" - per author's introduction, p.7.…
