Kevin Whately plays Jimmy Griffin, an ex-cop now working as an investigator for an insurance company still finds ways to use his detective skills at his new job, and somehow between his wife and employees fawning over him manages to create a lot of drama beyond that which he finds through his work. In this episode an ex-soldier kills his father and attempts to claim the father's insurance, at which point Jimmy (and his whole family) gets involved.
