Hier lebte er in Zurückgezogenheit und starb am 4. September 1792. Er ist Verfasser einer Anzahl akademischer Schriften und hat aber sonst grössere, selbständig erschienene Schriften nicht veröffentlicht. Bemerkenswerth ist nur die Abhandlung: "Periculum medicum de Belladona", wo er von der Verwendung der Belladonna bei Carcinom und den erzielten Heilresultaten spricht." Pagel, Hirsch V, p.686.
