Recipes include squaw bread, scrapple, wild onions and scrambled eggs, baked raccoon, preparing bear meat, and more. These are accompanied by an essay on the "Early Customs and Habits of American Indians," and three photographic illustrations of young Osage in traditional dress. Well represented institutionally, however this is still a very collectible title. Binding lacking upper ring, mild staining to boards, else very good.…
