Ernest Tino Trova (1927 â?" 2009) was a self-trained American surrealist and pop art painter and sculptor. Best known for his signature image and figure series, The Falling Man, Trova considered his entire output a single work in progress. He used classic American comic character toys in some of his pieces because he admired their surrealism. This book has c28 colour plates of paintings and sculpture with an introduction by Ivan Karp and c40 pages of correspondence between Trova and poet Ezra Pound. There are some minor creases to the top of the dust jacket and usage marks on the back. Otherwise the book and dust jacket are in very good condition.
