Dark brown cloth with titles in gold, a.e.g., brown decorative end-papers, there are six pages of full-page plates illustrating batik designs both preceding and following the text, copiously illustrated in color including many full-page illustrations, glossary, selected additional readings, also in the slip-case is a hardcover portfolio (entitled, Gallery: A Collection of Batik Patterns and Designs) of 69 plates of batik designs with descriptions on the verso. Signed on the title page by Tirta. The glossy illustrated slipcase is lightly rubbed with corners lightly worn. Bookseller accession no.: 25004.
