Published to accompany the Deutscher Werkbund exhibition of avant-garde photography "Film und Foto", which started in Stuttgart in 1929. The text is in German, French, and English. 76 full page black and white photographs from various artists including Eugà ne Aigat, Andreas Feininger, El Lissitsky, George Grosz & John Heartfield, Man Ray, Max Ernst, Brett Weston, Lászià Moholy-Nagy, Edward Weston and others. BOOK CONDITION: Very Good Plus (VG+). A tightly bound, solid, internally clean copy showing toning and soiling to wrappers with with cosmetic loss of outer paper layer along spine that has been secured from furhther loss with clear mylar tape. Overall, a solid, clean copy of the rare first edition.
