An special issue of WAR's newspaper published the year they changed their name from White American Resistance to White Aryan Resistance. This issue includes a cover article on the attempt by Mexicans to replace whites in the U.S. and advocates a repatriation program for all "Mexicans, Negro [sic] and other non-Whites." Inside is an article on joining WAR's White Student Union, their Whiteman's Platform, and on Israel as a fifth column through its technology companies. The back cover features an anti-government piece presumably written by Tom Metzger. Tabloid format printed in black on newsprint, [4] pp., illus. A near fine copy.

A large run of the most enduring white nationalist newspaper of the late 20th century that sought to unify racial nationalists, neo-Nazis, anti-Semites, skinheads and other activists on the extreme right. The newspaper was the organ of Tom Metzger's White Aryan Resistance (WAR), which began as the White Aryan Political Association (WAPA) in 1982 with Metzger changing the name to White American Resistance in 1983 and White Aryan Resistance in 1984. Metzger began his career on the right as a member of the John Birch Society before founding the White Brotherhood in the 1970s. He then joined David Duke's Knights of the Ku Klux Klan before founding his own Klan group, the California Knights of the Ku Klux Klan. Stacy Keach's character in American History X was based on him. The newspaper began publication in 1983 and included articles, news briefs, reader correspondence, profiles and articles on white political prisoners and movement martyrs (with much of this content focused on Robert Matthews and The Order), adverts, and most famously, the inflammatory cartoons of A. Wyatt Mann (i.e., "A White Man," the pseudonym of underground filmmaker Nick Bougas), as well as other racial cartoonists. Besides Metzger, other notable contributors include John Jewell, Robert Miles, William Pierce, James Mason, Wyatt Kaldenberg, etc. Issues include Vol. 3, Nos. 2, 4-5; Vol. 4, Nos. 1-5 (complete); Vol. 5, Nos. 1, 3, 5; Vol. 6, Nos. 2-6; Vol. 7, Nos. 1, 3-6; Vol. 8, Nos. 1-6 (complete; 5/6 double issue); Vol. 9, Nos. 1-5; Vol. 10, Nos. 1-2; Vol. 11, No. 4; Vol. 12, No. 6. Tabloid format printed in black and black &red on newsprint, pagination various from 8-24 pp. with most issues 12-16 pp., heavily illustrated. Wilcox Collection stamps to the front cover of most issues, otherwise a very good run. Issues rarely emerge in commerce, although a dozen and a half institutions show scattered holdings in WorldCat.
