Three photographs with mimeo snipes affixed to the verso promoting the episode's broadcast on Monday February 6, 1984. One photograph with printed mimeo label affixed to the verso. A man and his wife move their family to rural Vermont to operate an historic inn. In this episode, the owner of the neighboring cafe proposes to his girlfriend who is about to go on a long trip to Europe. Set in rural Vermont, shot on location in Middlebury, Vermont. 9 x 7 inches. First Draft script for Season 2 Episode 10 of the 1982-1990 television series. SIGNED by actor Bob Newhart in manuscript ink to the front wrapper with a non-personalized salutation: "All the Best / Bob Newhart." Included with the script is a brief Typed Noted Signed from Newhart to a fan, enclosing the script, and an original hand-addressed manila mailing envelope. The series follows a married couple from New York who move to a small town in rural Vermont to run a historic inn. In this episode, cafe owner Kirk begins dating a woman, but struggles to accept her profession as a clown. Orange titled wrappers, noted as First Draft on the front wrapper, dated October 11, 1983, and production No. 3109. Title page present, with credit for screenwriter Emily Marshall, dated Ocrober (sic) 11, 1983, and noted as First Draft. 53 leaves, with last page of text numbered 50. First Draft typescript for the Season 1 Episode 3 of the 1953-1963 television series, which originally aired on July 31, 1957 on CBS, seen here under the working title "The Transmogrification of Chester Brown." Manuscript pencil and ink annotations throughout, most noting pagination and editorial revisions. Included with the script are several letters and memos between screenwriter Arthur Hailey, agent Maeve Southgate, and programming executive Marshall Jamison, as well as several typed memos from within Jamison's office, discussing revisions to the script, dated variously between March 29 and July 30, 1957. A meek office clerk at an advertising firm takes a "Personality Projection" course which ignites his self-confidence, leading him to pursue greater opportunities at the firm. Blue titled self wrappers, noted as LIMITED DISTRIBUTION / FIRST DRAFT in manuscript pencil annotation on the front wrapper, along with an annotation noting the date 4/24/57, with credits for screenwriter Arthur Hailey.
