Im Zentrum stehen dann der Lagrangeformalismus (Lagrangegleichungen 1. und 2. Art, Hamiltonsches Prinzip, Erhaltungsgrossen, Noethertheorem) und seine wichtigsten Anwendungen (Bewegung im Zentralpotenzial, Dynamik des starren Korpers, harmonische Schwingungen). Danach wird der Hamiltonformalismus eingefuhrt, und die Kontinuumsmechanik wird anhand ausgewahlter Anwendungsbeispiele vorgestellt. Der letzte Teil behandelt ausfuhrlich die Spezielle Relativitatstheorie.
