Corners are worn…. Inside boards have remains of what was apparently a glued on kraft cover. Some end paper missing at top of front inside. Front fly has an owner's name and 1860 date in pencil. A second name and address are on the reverse, also pencil. This is repeated on inside rear end paper. Pencil doodle on inside rear fly. Waterstain on top quarter of pages 419 thru rear fly. All pages have some yellowing around print but pages near ends have foxing spots. 426 pp.plus 5 pages of ads and endorsements. No D. J. Subject of the book is elocution.
