VG+/VG - Vol. 1 - 368 pp. ; Vol. 2 - 394 pp. This Classic of "Kentuckiana" has 2 volumes , with the full index for both at the rear of Vol. 2. These are each number 44 of a set Limited to 1000 cc. These invaluable resources are EACH boldly inscribed and signed by the legendary historian author on their respective first blank flyleaves. He also, signed BOTH on their respective Half Title pages, and finally he initialed EACH on their respective title pages. Vol. 1 has a prior owner's bookplate just inside the front board, and a different prior owners smaller plate just below that. Vol. 1 dust jacket has a small 1/4" piece missing from the front right bottom corner. Otherwise both jackets are quite nice, and present superbly in clear archival covers. This set is an absolute must for any serious Kentucky history buff. Photos upon request. Signed by Author(s).
