Stiff textured paper wraps, titles and illustrations printed in green and black. Covers scuffed, stained and creased; spine ends chipped; edges soiled. Supplier of travel trailer lighting, plumbing, hitches, heaters, winches - "Everything but trailers." No publication date is given but we surmise early 1960s by the phone prefix, the lack of a zip code, and the presence of the 1962 Space Needle in the naive cover illustration which also features the Smith Tower.

Photo illustrations, floor-plans throughout, self-printed colour-illustrated softcovers, cover art of 1939 Hudson pulling a Platt Trail-a-Home trailer behind driving in the West (minor dustsoiling, soiling to spine, pencil annotations & pricing on first couple pages), still a VG- copy. First edition of this very scarce pre-War dealer's catalogue for the Platt Trail-a-Home travel trailers, produced in 17 ft. Runabout, 19 ft. Admiral, 21 ft. Lincoln, and the deluxe Berkshire 24 ft. model. Of particular interest in this catalogue was their production of their New "Concession Car" streamliner diner car, which featured stools, lunch counter, and well-appointed kitchen for successfully operating a moveable diner restaurant. Platt Trailer Co. was founded originally by Oliver Platt (d. 1939) in 1934 after purchasing Doloretta Manufacturing in Osceola, IN who produced cabinets, cart tables, and furniture, and by 1935 moved to 44,000 square foot facility in Elkhart.
