Head and tail of spine chipped; spine creased parallel with hinges & shows signs of desiccation. Gilt lettering dulled & soiled, but legible. Fold-out color map tipped-in at front gutter with normal toning at creases; small tear at bottom edge. Bookplates on front paste-down: "Maurice Robert des Marais" and "This Book Belongs to D. O.
