Ronald Chase (1934 - 2019) was an American artist and photographer born in Seminole, Oklahoma. He studied at Bard College (B.A. 1956), traveled and worked in Europe from 1956-1959, and lived in San Francisco from 1964, where he exhibited widely, including at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, and Boston Museum of Fine Arts. His work is represented in major collections such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Philadelphia Museum, and the International Museum of Photography at George Eastman House.
