Paperback. Condizione: new. Graphics, Rica (illustratore). Paperback. Evolving Through the Way is a reflective work rooted in martial arts practice and lived experience. Drawing from years of training, teaching, and personal growth, Tristan Davis explores the quieter lessons that emerge over time, discipline, resilience, responsibility, and becoming.Rather than focusing on technique or instruction, the book examines the internal journey that unfolds alongside physical practice. Through personal insight and philosophical reflection, Davis considers how pain, purpose, and perseverance shape not only martial artists, but anyone committed to long-term growth.Written for readers who value steady progress over quick outcomes, Evolving Through the Way offers perspective on what it means to stay on the path, and to continue evolving through it. A martial artist's guide to discipline, resilience, and purpose. Exploring how growth comes not in comfort, but through life's hardest challenges. This item is printed on demand. Aggiungi al carrelloCondizione: Very Good. Tristan Keuris, Movements for Orchestra, Donemus Amsterdam, 1981; large folio in brown plastic binding. This score is from a large collection of scores that belonged to the conductor Sir Colin Davis, many annotated and used in performance, almost all from the post-war period and including at least two examples of scores from which Davis conducted the work's premier: Thea Musgrave's Clarinet Concerto (Davis was himself originally a clarinettist by training) and Malcolm Williamson's The Stone Wall which Davis premiered at the Last Night of the Proms in September 1971. Most of the scores are full size performance versions, several very large indeed in order to accommodate the scoring of a post-Schoenberg orchestra. Davis achieved global recognition for his conducting with a particular enthusiasm for the music of Mozart, Berlioz, Elgar, Sibelius, Stravinsky and Tippett.
