This copy, the First Edition, published by Sheed and Ward in 1973 in hardcover format, is filled with out-takes from the Doonesbury comic strip that daily punctured the pretensions of the Nixon administration during, and in the aftermath of the Watergate Scandal. Along with the Doonesbury clips , there are also full page cartoon satires of the participants in the affair - many of them found to be "Guilty! Guilty! Guilty!", as Trudeau has one of his cartoon characters pronounce delightedly. Nixon was not the first president to disgrace the office, and he was certainly not the last.
