Hardcover. Condizione: Very Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. This hardcover book, published by Putnam's Sons in 1912, is a First Edition. It is in Very Good condition. The exterior is lightly worn along the edges with a few light scratches on the front. Please see the photos. The gilt on the spine and page tops is clear and unfaded. The spine is strong and tight. There is an inscription on the first page in ink, "To my friend, George B Aycrigg. CB Tyler, June 1916." I don't know if this is a relation to the author or not. I am including a partial sheet of stationary in that name that I found in another book. The only other marking I found is a price in pencil. The three maps are present and unharmed. There is no dust jacket. The book comes from a smoke free home. I will ship the book with Media Mail through the US Post Office within 2 business days, usually sooner.
