A masterful collection of Ullmann's portraits of subjects taken across Appalachia chiefly northern Georgia, North Carolina, Kentucky, and Tennessee. Issued as Jargon 50, with a moving preface by Jonathan Williams, and a long remembrance of Ullmann by John Jacob Niles.
