This scarce story of a little known or discussed piece of correspondence apparently conveying a first-hand account from a friend and witness to Jesus' crucifixion and surrounding events. After nearly being lost to a Jesuit on the scene in Egypt, and then later a Latin translation held in a German lodge, the letter was rediscovered and now translated into English.
