A fine essay of art criticism by Will Barnet, and an Appraisal and Commentary by Richard C. Bartlett, plus an essay by his son Lanci Valentine. First Edition, bound in an oblong hardcover format, cloth covers, with small color pastedown. Printed paper dust jacket, but with two large closed tears; housed now in a plastic bag. Interior quite bright and fine. 135 pp., and with plentiful full-page, full-color and black-and-white illustrations. Previous owner's embossed stamp at first free endpaper. 9 1/2" x 12 1/2". Complete with "Recollections of My Father by Lanci Valentine and Tributes by His Friends." Personal copy of Aldis J. Browne of Art Consultant dot com, a curator and art adviser based in California. His clients, both private and museums, encircle the globe - from the Australian National Gallery to the Metropolitan Museum. Museum exhibits include: Munch, Klee and Dali (from his web-site). Laid in is a letter to him from Ture Bengtz's son, Lanci Valentine.Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards.
