Le Groupe s'augmenta rapidement et admit en son sein des psychanalystes de grande renommée (Morgenstern - Rudolph Loewenstein qui fut le psychanalyste de Lacan - Sacha Nacht - Pierre Male - Charles Odier - Julien Rouart - Raymond de Saussure - Daniel Lagache - Favez-Boutonnier - Serge Lebovici - René Diatkine - Jacques Lacan - P.C. Racamier Charles Brisset .) et des psychiatres connus par leurs travaux de psychiatrie clinique, de psychopathologie, ou leurs affinités avec la psychologie des profondeurs ou la phénoménologie (Ceillier - Georges Daumezon - Deshaies - Dublineau - Duchêne - Henri Ey - Sven Follin - Fouquet - Laboucarié - Lanteri-Laura - Mignot - Montassut - Pichot - Tosquelles .) qui vinrent en grand nombre participer aux travaux de la Société et publièrent d'importants articles dans sa revue.
