In very good condition, ends of spine and corners lightly rubbed and worn, raised ribs on spine worn, front edges lightly spotted. 320pp, top edges gilt, 6 plays by C17th and C19th English dramatist influenced by Molière, with introduction by Henry Morley.

There are several very similar editions of 1728: one has 95pp., and ESTC online records a further five with 99pp. - four of them have press-figures, and one has none.

Full Leather. Condizione: Good. No Jacket. Five "Comedies" published in London between 1776 and 1777. Full polished calf with red leather spine label. Spine is a little faded and chipped on ends. Appears to be lacking a second spine label. Some moisture tide marks in contents and scattered mostly light foxing. Other general light wear, though overall a solid and fairly clean copy.
