The back cover features shor…t samples of four songs from *Oh Lady! Lady!* by P.G. Wodehouse and Jerome Kern. *The Rose of China* was a romantic musical comedy with book by Guy Bolton. Apparently it was not much of a success as it only ran for 47 performances, which explains why there is so little information about this musical available and so few examples of its music to be found. *OCLC* locates only three holdings of this piece and it appears to be equally uncommon in the trade.
