Condizione: new. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in India is evolving from a philanthropic endeavour into a strategic business necessity. While historically more active in the private sector, governmental bodies are increasingly participating. Companies now recognize that supporting their workers, local communities, and society at large yields significant business benefits, making this approach gain considerable ground.Numerous corporations and foundations already execute commendable CSR projects in education, health, and the environment. This scope should be expanded to include public libraries. As vital social institutions, libraries provide the fundamental information necessary for citizens' socio-economic and cultural development and sustain lifelong learning. They are crucial hubs for disseminating existing knowledge and fostering the creation of new ideas. By directing CSR initiatives towards public libraries, corporations can invest in the nation's informational infrastructure, empowering citizens and strengthening the very foundation of a knowledge-driven society. This creates a powerful synergy between corporate growth and communal development. This item is printed on demand.
