Narasimham (1975). At present in Andhra Pradesh five Regional Rural Banks functioning - Andhra Pradesh Grameena Vikas Bank (APGVB), Andhra Pragathi Grameena Bank (APGB), Chithanya Godavari Grameena Bank (CGGB), Deccan Grameena Bank (DGB) and Saptagiri Grameena Bank (SGB).
