This first picture developed into the Pulitzer Prize winning story of Troy Maxson, a fifty-three-year-old, black garbage collector in Pittsburgh. The play starts 1957 and ends 1965 with the death of Troy. In the play we get an insight into Troy's life with his wife Rose, his sons Cory and Lyons, his brother Gabriel and his best friend Bono. Troy has to face a lot of challenges. First of all, he has to live in a racist society which denied him to live his dream of being a baseball player. Wang says that 'the tragic dimension of the play is delineated by the conflict between characters' tenacious pursuit of their dreams and an environment which works adversely to prevent them from realizing their dreams' (Wang 63). Furthermore, Troy has to work at a garbage department. His hard job gets him just enough money to nourish his family. Also, in his family he has a lot of problems to deal with, especially with his son Cory, who wants to become a professional football player, but also with his wife Rose. The reason for his problems with Rose is that Troy has an affair with another woman, Alberta, and impregnated her. So, the story of the life of Troy Maxson is a story about racism, friendship, segregation, family, love, shattered dreams, rejection and of course baseball.…

The novel is placed in what is today the United States of America, probably somewhere on the East Coast. The time it is set in a not so far away future where the Apocalypse had already occurred. The plot is situated around the two main characters Toby and Ren who give us insights into the pre-apocalyptic time throughout the book. The environment which is portrayed is disturbed in many ways: the effects of a global climate change are apparent; society has split up into different groups. YOF is centered in the pleeblands where the lower social classes are situated. The picture of the society we get is that it is in an 'unhealthy condition'. It has mainly lost its ethics and moral and there is an increased willingness of violence not only by individuals but also by the leading CorpSeCorps forces, a private security firm. Eventually, the whole human race is extinguished by a pandemic and only a few survive. Next to Toby and Ren, the survivors mainly consist of the members of eco-activist groups. Now, they have to face the question of survival and have to deal with a new species of 'man' - the Crakers.…

Es wird spontan gehandelt, nach Mustern von denen man glaubt sie seien zielführend. In dieser Arbeit werden zu den verschiedenen Formen von Störungen im Unterricht jeweils passende Handlungsmöglichkeiten vorgestellt.Die Wunschbilder von Lehrkräften hinsichtlich ihrer Schüler mögen nicht immer gleich sein, aber in einem Punkt sind sie sich einig: sie wünschen sich eine Klasse mit möglichst wenig Störungen. Doch wirft man einen Blick auf den Alltag in den Klassenzimmern, so zeichnet sich ein anderes Bild ab. Es gibt die Schülerin, die gerne dazwischen ruft, den Schüler, der lieber aus dem Fenster schaut, als seinem Arbeitsauftrag nachzugehen, die Lautsprecherdurchsage aus dem Sekretariat und den Lehrer, der die Schüler bei ihrer Stillarbeit durch Zwischenbemerkungen stört. Häufig wird Unterricht sowohl für Lehrkräfte als auch für Schüler durch Störungen zur Belastungsprobe.Vor allem Berufseinsteiger müssen sich bei dem Sprung von ihrer hauptsächlich theoretischen Ausbildung in die Unterrichtspraxis mit der Realität von Unterrichtsstörungen auseinandersetzen. Aber auch erfahrene Lehrpersonen sehen sich nicht selten mit Situationen konfrontiert, bei denen ihr Erfahrungsschatz nicht ausreicht.
