Zijn werk kenmerkt zich door een sterke verbondenheid met plaats, gemeenschap en collectief geheugen. Hij realiseerde verschillende sculpturale projecten in de openbare ruimte, waaronder de beeldengroep "De ontmoeting", die symbool staat voor de verbondenheid tussen de deelgemeenten van Kapelle-op-den-Bos en de historische ontwikkeling van de regio. / Cette publication offre un aperçu du travail du artiste belge Guido Van Causbroeck entre 2000 et 2003. Elle a été publiée à l'occasion de l'inauguration du groupe de sculptures « De ontmoeting » (La rencontre) à Kapelle-op-den-Bos. Le livre contient des essais et des commentaires de différents auteurs et documente le parcours artistique de l'artiste à l'aide de textes et d'images. La publication est bilingue et met en lumière à la fois la vision artistique du créateur et le contexte culturel dans lequel le projet a vu le jour. Guido Van Causbroeck est un artiste belge originaire de Nieuwenrode, actif dans le domaine de la peinture et sculpture monumentale et publique contemporaine. Son travail se caractérise par un lien fort avec le lieu, la communauté et la mémoire collective. Il a réalisé plusieurs projets sculpturaux dans l'espace public, dont le groupe de sculptures « De ontmoeting » (La rencontre), qui symbolise le lien entre les communes de Kapelle-op-den-Bos et le développement historique de la région.
