A scarce and amusing children's story written and illustrated by the charismatic Victor Knowland who created the book for his own children after many long years serving in WW2. Something of a hen's tooth, this copy is remarkably well preserved with no inscriptions or blemishes, all the pages are bright and clean. The book is preserved in the original illustrated dust wrapper with some rubbing around the extremities and is price clipped somewhat unskilfully but is intact with no tears or chips missing. Overall a very nice copy indeed of a rare book.
