A Very Good copy. An original billhead from C. A. Crosby of Auburn, California to "Mr. J. [Viehmeyer?]." There are three line items for February 28, April 8, and August 15 which include the following descriptions: "horse & buggy" and "feed of horse." The printed header reads, "To C. A. Crosby, Dr., Empire Livery Stable; Good Teams, Saddle Horses, Fine Carriages and Buggies. All orders in the livery business promptly attended to. All bills payable on the first of each month. Transcient [sic?] and boarding horses well cared For.".
