Mechanics of Solids is a basic engineering course that deals with the behaviour of solid bodies subjected to various types of loading. The basic objectives of this course are the determination of the stresses, strains and deformations produced by the loads. The main objective of this book is to present the aspects of mechanics of materials in unified and integrated manner.
