Beginning with White Noise, a punk zine active from 1978 to 1980, the anthology traces the transition to Fun: The Magazine for Swinging Intellectuals (1986â"1990) , noted for its satirical edge and bold design. This progression culminated in Orbit (1990â"1999) , a publication that blended irreverent humour, cultural commentary, and striking visuals, becoming a staple of 1990s Detroit culture. Orbit featured a distinctive globe-headed mascot and gained wider recognition when Quentin Tarantino wore its T-shirt in Pulp Fiction.
