The front free endpaper shows a delicately pencilled personal gift inscription for Christmas, 1917. There is a small stain to each of pages 168 and 169; that identified, the text is clear to read. Else is clean, bright, solid.

A bound volume containing thirteen issues of the French literary journal, Le Petite Illustration. This includes novels and plays by a variety of authors, as well as photos of plays, illustrations, etc. All text in French. Includes the following issues from 1936: October 17 and 24; November 7, 14, 21. From 1937: January 16, February 13, 20, 27, March 6, 13, April 10, 17. GOOD condition. Ex-library, with stamping on the inside covers. Moderate fading, soiling and scuffing to the covers and extremities. Heavy toning to the paper. Pencil note to the cover of one issue.
