Condizione: Very good. - Quarto [13 inches high by 9-3/4 wide] black cloth in a dust wrapper. The head & tail of the dust jacket's spine are creased. xvi & 96 pages. Profuse full-page black-and-white reproductions of photographs by Alfred Eisenstaedt. There is some light foxing to the margin of the last illustration. Very good. First edition.Photographs taken by Alfred Eisenstaedt in Germany in the 1920s and 1930s and on a return trip to Germany in 1979.The text includes an introductory essay by the editor Gregory A. Vitiello and appreciations by Dr. Joshua Taylor of the Smithsonian Institution and Dr. Klaus Honnef, Curator of the Bonn Museum.
