Würthle gilt als einer der erfolgreichsten Photogr…aphen im Ostalpenraum und betrieb auch einen florierenden Photographieverlag, der hauptsächlich Alpenansichten vertrieb. Der als Nachfolger seines ersten Partners Gregor Baldi ins Geschäft eingestiegene Spinnhirn war sein Schwager. Nach dessen Tod trat Würthles Sohn in die Firma ein.
