Multiple sections bound together in library binding; each section individually paginated. Sections are numbered as follows: 258, 771, 553, 555, 623, -- published, respectively, in 1927, 1935, 1936, 1936, 1937, and 1938. The first section is titled "A Warning Concerning the Take-Off with Heavy Load". 6 pages. The next is titled "Ground Effect on the Take-Off and Landing of Airplanes". 32 pages. Section 3 is titled "Notes on the Technique of Landing Airplanes Equipped with Wing Flaps". 9 pages. Three more sections: piloting techniques for recovery from spins, wheel-type controls, and NACA stall-warning indicator. Each section is followed by multiple figures and tables. The entire volume, with original covers, has a later library binding. Gutters at front and back reinforced with white cloth. Two library stamps and some writing in pen on the front free endpaper. Pages within are clean and free of foreign markings. Light rubbing to covers. Comes from a large collection of technical memorandums from the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics before the committee was abolished upon creation of NASA in 1958.
