No Binding. Condizione: Collectible-Very Good. Collection of three original billheads (monthly account statements) printed in black ink on light beige paper. Each includes handwriting in black ink and a stamp showing the bill was paid. Datelined June 30, July 31, and August 31, 1900 in Sacramento, California. 5 1/4" x 8 1/4." Billheads are very clean and intact except for light age toning, a few horizontal and vertical fold lines, slight wrinkling, and a few small bumps to corners and edges. Very Good copies. Three original billheads (monthly account statements) from W. P. Fuller & Company of Sacramento, California to Frank Kunsting of Franklin, California. Each statement has two columns, a list of dates on the left and corresponding transactions (in dollar amounts) on the right. "To Mdse, per Bill Rend" printed at top in center column. The printed header on each reads, "To W. P. Fuller & Co., Dr., Manufacturers and Importers of Paints, Oils and Window Glass; Doors, Windows and Blinds, Wall Paper, Moldings, Etc., Orleans Building, 1016 to 1022 Second Street." W. P. Fuller & Company was a paint and glass company and the successor to Whittier, Fuller & Company. Whittier, Fuller & Co. was formed in 1868 as the result of a merger between the businesses of William Parma Fuller (1827-1890) and William Franklin Whittier (1832-1919), the latter of whom was the surviving partner of Cameron, Whittier & Company. Fuller also appears to have co-founded Fuller & Heather in 1857 in Sacramento which, in turn, was another predecessor of Whittier, Fuller & Co. After the merger, Whittier, Fuller & Co. became one of the most successful paint companies on the West Coast. In the 1970s, W. P. Fuller & Co. was bought out by the O'Brien Corporation. The resulting company, Fuller O'Brien Paints, was eventually acquired by ICI Paints in 1995.
