For voice and piano. Plate number, 1086. The front cover states that this song is dedicated to Madame F. Lablache. The composer of this song, William Vincent Wallace, was an Irish composer and musician regarded as a virtuoso at both the violin and the piano, though this particular piece appears perfectly suitable for the average player.

Fair condition. Covers discoloured with some pencil marks to front and slight page curling. Staples rusted. There are ten pages of adverts. There are sketches in pencil on two pages. There are photographs of the principal members of the cast as follows - Lily Allen, Helena Taylor, Arthur Wilkes, Lee Thistlethwaite and Herbert Ruddock together with The Musical Director of The Manchester Station Mr T H Morrison.

Illustrated by engraved covers. First thus edition. {voice and piano}. 4 volumes. Folded sheet music. 4to (34.3cm). pp. 5, [1]; 5, [1]; 7, [1]; 5, [1]. Very Good. Removed from leather bound nonce volume of Hattie M. Smith (owner stamp) with stitch holes trimmed and archival spine joints added.

An instrumental piece for piano. Plate number, Henrietta "Jetty" Treffz was a well-known mezzo-soprano and the first wife of Johann Strauss II.

An instrumental piece for piano. Plate imprint, "Rom by W." Dedicated to J.W. Davison. The publisher's information and estimated publication date are derived from the stamps on the front cover and the premiere of the opera this piece is from; if there was printed publisher's information it has rubbed off. G. Andre of Philadelphia was a publisher but they were also a music shop (meaning they sold works by other publishers). There are three stamps on the front cover, one is barely visible, one is an older address (19 S. Fifth St., but G. Andre existed at this location before the opera premiered), the stamp overlapping it is difficult to make out but it appears to be the address 1104 Chestnut St., thus our estimated date range (Dichter & Shapiro *Handbook of Early American Sheet Music: 1768-1889*).
