Prima edizione
Hardcover. Condizione: Near Fine. Condizione sovraccoperta: Very Good dj. Illustrated by (dj design) Meyer Wagman (illustratore). Early printing. (price-clipped) [no discernible wear to book, previous owner's name and address in pencil on front endpaper; the jacket is wrinkled, as though it had absorbed some moisture at some point, but is otherwise clean and bright]. (B&W photographs) The popular musical, basis for the incredibly popular film of the same name. Although not the first printing, it retains the front-panel illustration of a photograph from the original Broadway production, featuring Mary Martin et al. (The front flap carries excerpts from five N.Y. critics' reviews of the show; all the other plays listed in the rear-panel blurb were on Broadway in either 1959 or 1960, which marks this as a fairly early printing. It is NOT the book club printing.).
