Hardcover. Condizione: Fair. The publisher of this first edition with front board matching the photo is Hubbard Brothers Publishers--the copyright notice is in its name, 1888. It should also be noted that the author of the "Life of Hon. Levi P. Morton" is not Lew Wallace but George Alfred Townsend. 578 p., clean and unmarked anywhere on tan but not brittle paper; boards, floral end pages, show damp staining yet pages within are fine with absolutely no evidence of moisture or rippling. That includes the frontis. engraved portrait of Harrison, with tissue guard. Binding birm, but volume somewhat bowed from poor storage, corners bumped, some rubbing at crown and foot of spine.

Both front cover and spine also have black designs. 5 1/2 X 8 inches. 578 pages. This copy is a campaign biography. BAL "Printing 2" No. 20804. The first section is of Gen. Ben Harrison which is 349 pages and 19 black and white plates. The second is of Hon. Levi P. Morton which is pages 351-578 and has 7 black and white plates. Copy also has the sections titled, "Our Former Presidents" which has information on presidents Washington through Cleveland, and "The Citizens Handbook of Valuable Facts For Campaign Work." Head and tail are slightly bumped and corners are slightly worn. The last page (no text or illustrations are on this page) is torn, however still intact. Pages are clean and complete. Binding is tight.
