Speeches and writings by the dauntless St. Louis attorney, who toiled long and hard to bring to justice criminal elements including grafters and municipal criminals. Six Guns 2295 says, "Scarce." "In the latter part of the book is the author's autobiography, in which he tells much about the crimes and trials of the James boys and about his prosecution of Frank James." The author had openly and fearlessly attacked the James Gang and declared during a campaign for the job of Prosecuting Attorney for Jackson County that if elected he would prosecute them to the full extent of the law.
