Leather. Condizione: Rough. No Jacket. This copy is missing it's front cover. Head and foot of spine is worn away. Patterned leather over back board, faded gilt lettering of the spine. Marble patterning of textblock edges. Endpapers are slightly shadowed. Frontispiece retains protective tissue. Interior text has yellowed with age, some foxing and shadowing. 386 pages of text, tight in binding. Size: 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall.

Leather. Condizione: Fair. First Edition. Quarter contemporary calf with marbled paper boards. Remnants of gilt decoration to spine. The leather has deteriorated somewhat but is now stable. Joints a little cracked but hinges intact and binding solid. Bookplate of John Cotton Terrett to front pastedown. Pencil notes to rear blank. Browning and spotting to endpapers, blanks and, to a lesser degree, to some text pages but it's not off-putting and the majority are clean. vi, 391 pp. Engraved frontispiece with tissue-guard. 16mo - over 5¾ - 6¾" tall.
