PLEASE NOTE: The reasons for the lower "good" rating are because there is the beginning of a faint spine crease along with a short crease to the lower corner back cover. This copy is smyth sewn. Smyth sewing is a method of bookbinding where groups of folded pages (referred to as signatures) are stitched together using binder thread. Each folded signature is sewn together individually with multiple stitches and then joined with other signatures to create the complete book block. This is the traditional and best method of bookbinding.

Two damp spot/stains to back cover, one didn't penetrate to contents beyond a couple of pages (wrinkling) , the second has resulted in a 2" round damp wrinkle to the last twenty or so pages, at bottom, near spine. ; Illus, maps, fold-out maps throughout, aside from back cover water drop spots contents are very good, I've only removed the shrinkwrap to investigate the spots on back cover. ; 571 pages.
