Aggiungi al carrelloHardcover. Condizione: Fine. Condizione sovraccoperta: Very Good. First Edition. First editions (see below). Complete in three volumes. Octavos. x, 506; xiii, 1,070; x, 560pp. Light blue cloth, Volume II lacking the jacket. Each volume with the owner name and stamp of a noted American psychologist on the front fly, spine of one…volume a trifle sunned with a tiny impression, else fine; Volume I's jacket is very good with a toned spine, edge nicking, and several tiny nicks and tears, Volume III's jacket is very good, toned with small chips and tears, and neat, (archival) internal reinforcement to the spine ends and a slightly larger chip on the cover panel. The volumes' subtitles are: "Principles and Methods," "Plants and Invertebrates," and "Vertebrates." Billed on the jacket as "the first complete documented treatment of Comparative Psychology." (N.B. Regarding the edition: the books show no additional printings on the copyright page as called for. The copyright dates, however, range from 1935-1940, but that of Volume III [1936] is earlier than Volume II [1940]. We surmise the books were copyrighted at those dates, but published together in 1940.).
