Based on a character created by stand-up comedian John Caponera, the series followed John Bowman, a working class middle manager and family man, as he attempts to balance work and family, and improve his lot in life. In this episode, John discovers his son is planning to convert to Buddhism at the urging of his son's new girlfriend. Originally aired on January 3, 1994, on NBC.
